Built for health data from day one.

How Hettie handles transcripts, recordings and client details for home care providers and hospices in Ireland.

How we protect health data

GDPR and health data.

Health data is special category data under Article 9 of the GDPR. We act as your processor under a signed data processing agreement, and we use your data only to run your service.

Stored in the EU.

Transcripts, call write-ups and client details are stored and processed in the European Union. Where your service keeps recordings, they are held there too.

Told at the start.

Every call opens with Hettie saying it's an automated assistant. Calls are transcribed and written up for your team. Recordings are kept only where the client has consented and your service has turned recording on, and Hettie says so when a call is recorded. Anyone can ask for a person at any point.

Your nurse decides.

Hettie listens, writes it up and passes things on. It doesn't diagnose, give medical advice or decide who gets care. Every clinical decision stays with your team.

Records you can show an inspector.

Every call, transcript, flag and follow-up is logged with the time and the person who handled it, ready for your quality reviews, the HSE and HIQA.

Access you control.

Access by role and branch, a full audit log, and a retention period you set.
